حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ سے روایت ہے کہ اہل خانہ میں سے اگر کوئی بیمار ہوتا تو آپ اس کے لیئے تلبینہ تیار کراتے اور مریض کو کھلاتےتھے۔اور فرماتے کہ تلبینہ استعمال سے جسمانی کمزوری دور ہوتی ہے۔ اور فرماتے کہ تلبینہ پریشانی اور تھکن کا خاتمہ کرتا ھے اور حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ سے روایت ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا تلبینہ دل کا غم ایسے اتارتاھےجیسے تم پانی سے منہ دھو کر اپنا چہرہ غلاظت سے پاک کرتے ہو۔ ایک اور جگہ حضرت بی بی عائشہ رضی اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ تلبینہ تمھارے پیٹوں کو غلاضت سے پاک کرتا ہے،اور بھوک کی کمی کو دور کرتا ہے۔
